We are a family run business, trading for over 40 years. We are chosen by large firms as well as individuals, simply because we love what we do.
What we do
We dont expect you to be experts at framing, printing, finishing or cutting techniques, so we keep things simple. Of course, if you are an artist or designer, there is nothing we enjoy more than talking shop with you. Here are some of our services.
Picture Framing
We have access to a large supply of frames which is more than enough for our customers. If you know what you want, we can frame it. If you are unsure, we will work with you and advise you to get the very best result for your budget.
Mounting
A mount is the coloured surround that goes around your artwork before being fitted inside a frame. Although a mount is optional it is recommended as it will visually enhance the artwork being framed and add conservational properties by spacing the artwork from the glazing.
Custom Displays & Bespoke Framing
We get some wonderful requests for framing or putting items in casings, for display or protection. Many of the items are one off, and we can customise frames, boxes and mounts to suit your project.

Printing
We do a variety of digital printing from Business Cards to Fine Art & Giclee. Our solvent printing capability offers a water-proof and UV resistant finish for Canvas, Banners and even Wallpaper.
Laminating & Encapsulation
Yes, there is a slight difference, but we will take care of the hard work for you. Lamination is a thin layer of plastic, which is trimmed flush with the print. Encapsulation is often thicker more resilient plastic which overhangs the print.

If you have Artwork youre good to go, but if you need, we can help you to get the results you need. Our Award Winning Design team are here for you.

Having used Mike for just one job it would be fair to say that this is the place to get your printing and framing done.
I have a limited edition signed print of The Silver Surfer which needed looking at and was tenderly treated as well as a proper acid-free mount and colour enhanced bevel cut. This made the print stand out.

I have recently had some of my favourite landscape images printed and framed by Mike at M&H. These are to be hung in a local cafe gallery for sale.
I can not recommend Mikes work enough. Not only was the print quality excellent, he advised and chose the perfect frame, mount and hand stained the wood in sympathy with the intended hanging space. Helping with advice on crop and composition to really make the images sing.
